Here are 11 ways to boost your energy level. Do you often ask yourself, “Why am I so tired all the time?”  If so, this article may be the perfect read for you; I have compiled a list of some of the most common reasons for tiredness and what you can do to bounce back into action.

I am a mother and wife and self-employed entrepreneur – working 12 hours day -so I know what is being tired all the time. But during the years I have developed some tricks to be more energetic, how to fall asleep in moments and get quality sleep.

So Today I am sharing these 11 ways to boost your energy with you and hope these will work for you too. 🙂

We all know that there are smarter ways to boost our energy than reaching for an unhealthy energy drink or a sugar-filled cup of coffee. When we let our body do what it does naturally, we enjoy high levels of energy and vitality all day, and we can sleep soundly at night.

Fortunately, there are plenty of smart and healthy ways to naturally boost your short-term and long-term energy levels. The following 11 tips and activities lead to high and natural levels of energy and vitality, so you don’t have to reach for an unhealthy energy boost instead.

1 – Develop a Healthy Sleep Routine

1-Develop-a-Healthy-Sleep-Routine

The first way to boost your energy level to have a healthy sleep routine. While we sleep, our body heals and repairs. You have probably noticed that after a good night’s rest, you feel charged and ready to go in the morning. The entire day following 7 to 8 hours of restful sleep is highlighted by high energy levels that allow you to focus and concentrate, and perform all the physical actions you need to get through the day.

Develop a sleep schedule if you don’t currently have one. Begin going to bed and waking up at the same time every night and every morning. After 3 or 4 weeks this will become a habit your body is used to. Proper sleep is needed for literally all your physical and mental processes and functions to work properly. Prioritizing restful sleep is important for health and well-being, and a feeling of high energy and vitality.

Here is a trick that I am used to doing when I can not fall asleep it is called deep belly breathing. By regulating our breath we can coax our body and mind into calm.

Make the conscious choice to inhale deeply and slowly, until you feel the air filling your lungs. Then, exhale just as slowly, letting air seep gently through your mouth.

If this doesn’t work, you can try the effective 4-7 -8 breathing technique: You simply breathe in through your nose for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, and exhale through your mouth for eight seconds.”

Recently I found some hypnosis audio in youtube and tried it. I didn’t believe in hypnosis and I didn’t believe I can be hypnotized but I gave it a chance to find it out.

Anyway, you don’t have to believe in it (hypnosis is not a religion) you just have to be willing to follow simple instructions and willing to make changes in your life.

What do you think? (There are very few people who cannot be hypnotized)

2 – Lose a Few Pounds

2-Lose-a-few-pounds

The second way to boost your energy level to lose a few pounds. Being overweight leads to fatigue and low energy levels. Overweight and obesity have additionally been linked to a long list of very serious health problems. Even if you are just 10 pounds over your naturally healthy body weight, you can experience fatigue and tiredness, and very little energy. Losing a few pounds if you are overweight, and especially if you are obese, can have a significant effect on both your short-term and long-term energy levels.

Overweight and obesity are often the results of too much sugar in your diet. Sugar is a wonderful energy booster, alone and especially when added to coffee, but it is also incredibly addictive. Because of the high levels of endorphins and hormones that are triggered by sugar consumption and which create positive feelings and emotions, sugar addiction is as difficult to beat in some people as a heroin or cocaine addiction.

To be honest it is very hard to get rid of a few pounds. I have tried many diets, fasting and I have lost a few pounds but after a short time, I gained it back. So I dig myself into it and find out that diets work for only a period of time but If you are not persistent it is not worth anything. My biggest problem was that I couldn’t hold my diet further – my willpower run out -so I stopped and get bigger and bigger. So I needed to find something which helps me to be on a diet for a longer time, which can improve my willpower last longer.

You have probably heard a thousand times before that you need to nurture positive thoughts and believe in yourself in order to achieve your goals. But have you ever wondered what thinking positively truly means?

Did you know? If you try to change your habits without changing the way you think, you will end up in the exact same place in a couple of months, trying to lose weight yet again.

The problem isn’t your body, it is your mind. With just 22 minutes per day, hypnosis can help you crave healthy behaviors that will help you lose weight. I have tried everything to lose weight. But once my willpower wears off, my bad habits, negative thoughts, and lack of motivation are back.

While it’s easy to blame our body, there’s actually another culprit that’s responsible: your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind controls 90% of your thoughts and behaviors. This includes the thoughts that drive you to overeat, binge, obsess over food and any other habits that affect your ability to lose weight. But here’s the thing most people don’t know: you can change those negative thoughts and behaviors with one simple tool — hypnosis.

Using this weight loss hypnosis audio I was able to break the bad habits that have failed me before. I am eating when I am really hungry, I do not have cravings for junk food and eat a smaller portion and support my weight loss journey.

When you combine diet and exercise with hypnosis, it’s like having a secret weapon that makes living healthy feel natural and effortless.

3 – Try Aromatherapy

3-try-aromatherapy

The third way to boost your energy level to use aromatherapy. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries to deliver a multitude of health benefits, both in mind and body. It involves the use of essential oils, whether applied topically, inhaled or ingested, to deliver specific health rewards. For example, lavender essential oil lowers stress and anxiety and boosts positive moods and emotions. As one of the most versatile essential oils in aromatherapy, lavender oil boosts your skin health, helps wounds, scratches, cuts, and burns heal quickly, and promotes healthy sleep.

It also helps calm and soothe your mind, and delivers healthy, focused energy.

The following essential oils additionally help create short-term energy. When used in regular aromatherapy practice, your energy levels are routinely high.

Eucalyptus oil • Lemon oil • Orange oil • Grapefruit oil • Peppermint oil • Basil oil • Cinnamon oil • Ginger oil • Cedarwood oil • Rosemary oil

If you’ve been exploring natural remedies to improve health and quality of life for you and your family, then this is for you.

A few years ago, when I first became interested in natural health, I spent tons of time surfing the web looking for information that I could trust. Those little bottles of essential oils quickly turned into a huge project.

I wanted to use them, but I didn’t want to do it wrong and harm my family’s health rather than help it. If you are similarly conflicted then I want to make it easier for you.

What if I told you someone had already put together a complete package to get you up to speed on how to use essential oils?

I think you would be skeptical. Again, who can you trust?

Because the industry is not regulated – it’s largely up to you to decide what your comfort level is and what is right for your family.

You get a complete Herbs and essential oils bundle to help you:

  • Rebuild your medicine cabinet with natural remedies
  • Create beauty and skincare products without harmful ingredients
  • Treat your digestive complaints, pain, colds, and flu with everything in your medicine cabinet
  • Know which herbs are safe for pregnancy, babies, and children
  • Discover which natural substances combat multi-drug resistance, infections, and even cancer
  • Confidently prepare herbal extracts, salves, and balms
  • Liven up your meals and get major health benefits by using the right herbs
  • and so much more! What are you waiting for?

4 – Eat These Herbs

4-eat-these-herbs

The fourth way to boost your energy level to use adaptogenic herbs. Adaptogenic herbs change how your body works. They help your body adapt as needed to stressors, whether they be airborne or environmental, physical, biological or chemical. They can be taken in combination or on their own, and provide steady, healthy, high energy levels and vitality without excess stimulation. They are not habit-forming or addictive and crank up your energy while also keeping you calm and clear-headed.

This is not the case with several traditional energy boosters like caffeine and sugar. The following herbs can help create short-term energy soon after they are consumed, and long-term energy when taken regularly. They also provide additional and significant health benefits, as described below.

Ashwagandha – promotes positive moods, improves memory, endurance, and focus

Maca – boosts sex drive, fights fatigue, improves endurance

Ginseng – Korean ginseng fights the effects of stress and helps you feel balanced, and American ginseng boosts your immune system

Guarana – can help you reach and maintain a healthy body weight

Oregano – natural detoxing properties, boosts immune system health, aids digestion

Rhodiola – alleviates depression and anxiety

Gotu Kola – improvement in performance and memory, boosts the circulation of blood throughout your body

All these herbs and spices can be used in juices and food, and many are available in supplement form. They provide an energy boost in the present, and when taken regularly, lead to naturally high energy levels over the long term, while also delivering the above significant health benefits.

5 – Drink Green Tea

5-Drink-green-tea

The fifth way to boost your energy level to drink green tea. Green tea is one of the best health promoters on the planet. It is a superfood that delivers healthy antioxidants that boost your immune system, and it has cancer-fighting properties. Additionally, drinking green tea regularly leads to high levels of energy and fewer feelings of fatigue.

6 – Ditch the Sugar

6-ditch-the-sugar

The sixth way to boost your energy level to ditch sugar. Sugar is a simple carbohydrate that is absorbed by the body rapidly. The calories which this simple carb delivers are immediately stored in your fat cells. This is so you can have access to those calories for energy when you need it later. The problem comes with consuming too much-refined sugar.

Your fat cells continue to grow, and if you don’t begin using more energy than you have already stored, overweight and obesity become problems that lead to fatigue and low energy levels. Refined sugar is linked to several serious health conditions, and is not required by the human body. Replace table sugar with Stevia extract or powdered Stevia, or use locally grown, raw honey as a natural sweetener instead.

7 – Kick Coffee to the Curb

7 - Kick-Coffee-to-the-Curb

The seventh way to boost your energy level to kick coffee. Coffee has been found in a lot of studies to promote health and wellness in several ways. A single cup of coffee every morning, without unhealthy creams and sweeteners, has been linked to multiple health rewards. Most coffee lovers do not drink a single cup. They enjoy several large cups of coffee each morning, sometimes in the afternoon and evening, and their cuppa Joe is routinely spiked with sugar, artificial sweeteners, milk or cream.

That is not the healthiest way to drink coffee.

The ingredient which makes coffee such an excellent energy booster in the short term is caffeine. Get too much caffeine into your body on a regular basis, and you suffer energy spikes and crashes, while simultaneously elevating your heart rate, sometimes to an unhealthy level. When your body begins to depend on its own resources and physiological processes for energy, instead of a caffeine-filled coffee injection, you train your brain and body to level out natural energy production.

Drinking coffee regularly can also lead to a ruined sleep schedule. You learned earlier how important it is to establish and stick to a set sleep routine, especially for boosting all-day energy. There are a lot of good reasons to minimize or eliminate coffee and high levels of caffeine from your diet.

8 – Get Plenty of Protein in Your Diet

8-get-plenty-of-protein-in-your-diet

The eighth way to boost your energy to get protein. Protein is harder for your body to process than fat or carbohydrates. This means that if you need an energy boost, or you are fighting fatigue, it will be 30 to 40 minutes after you eat protein-rich foods before that energy is available. When you eat protein throughout the day, with every major meal, you always have energy available.

Protein is required by every cell in your body, so it is an extremely important nutrient for energy reserves and so many other mental and physical bodily processes. You should be eating at least 0.8 grams of protein for every 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) of body weight daily.

9 – Drink More Water

9-drink-more-water

The ninth way to boost your energy level to drink more water. Do you drink enough water? You should be sipping on water all day long. Water is a simple and effective detoxing agent, removing poisons and toxins from your body. Drinking it all day long can keep hunger at bay, which can help you regulate healthy body weight.

Drink a glass of water before every meal, and you will eat less. Water is required by your entire body for brain and body health from head to toe, and when you keep your mind and body hydrated regularly, your energy levels are naturally high.

I am not a big water-drinking person, actually, I had to force myself to drink water through the day until I have found my „ULLA” -which is a smart hydration reminder.

I have felt in love with this little cute thing for the first time so I have ordered 3 for all family members. By using my Ulla I drink plenty of water a day so since I have my body been hydrated well, it boosted my metabolism which increased my productivity as well.

10 – Practice Yoga and Meditation

10-practice-yoga-and-meditation

The tenth way to boost energy practice yoga and meditation. When something triggers a stress response in your body, you enjoy a short-term surge of energy. Your heart begins racing, your breathing accelerates and becomes deeper, and all your senses are on high alert. This is the way your body naturally protects you against what it perceives as some type of threat. Chronic stress, being in this position much of the time, leads to inflammation and inflammation is present in most chronic disease and illness.

Even in the short term, after your stress response is over, you feel the energy being sapped away. This is why you want to minimize the amount of stress you experience, whether physical, mental or emotional. One proven way to do this is with yoga.

Yoga is a centuries-old practice that combines slow, flowing movements and physical postures with a specific method of breathing and mental focus for a multitude of health benefits. For relieving anxiety and stress and preventing depression, yoga has a well-earned and ancient reputation.

The same can be said for meditation. Most meditation practices focus on the present moment. You don’t think about or concern yourself with one second from now or one second ago. Time is not a consideration. You simply exist and focus on that single moment of existence. As with yoga, specific breathing practices accompany this singularity of focus.

11 – Exercise

11-exercise

The eleventh way to boost your energy to exercise. Exercise and moderate to intense physical activity can provide you with a short-term energy boost. All your bodily processes are cranked up and active, and you experience high or low energy levels and more vitality. The real benefits where energy is concerned come from a regular exercise regimen followed over time.

Exercise gets your blood pumping and moves oxygen through your body. Oxygen is required throughout your body for a number of bodily processes. This rush of oxygenated blood leads to a “right now” rise in energy and vitality. Exercise regularly, adding strength training and aerobic activities to a weekly schedule, and your body benefits from higher natural energy levels all of the time.

This means if you want a short-term energy boost, get moving. Go for a jog or run. Hop on your bicycle. Take a brisk walk. Lift some weights. These are all physical fitness activities that can improve your energy level right now. When you do these types of things regularly, and you stay active and moving more frequently than when you are sitting and sedentary, you create all-day energy over the long term, as well as benefiting from a short-term dose of energy.

SuccessMinds also have great hypnosis audio „enjoy exercise” which I have not tried yet but definitely want to try it. In my next post, I will write a product review of SuccessMinds audios. I have linked a few of them which are available at SuccessMinds. You can also visit the website here>>>

The Wrap-Up

Your body knows how to naturally deliver short-term and long-term energy supplies. Unfortunately, sometimes we adopt unhealthy fitness, dietary and lifestyle practices which make us feel tired and sluggish. We reach for a cup of coffee filled with sugar or an energy drink and receive a short-term energy boost. Then the inevitable crash occurs, and we feel wiped out once again.

Instead of turning to energy drinks, sugar, coffee, and energy-boosting powders and pills, develop a healthy sleep schedule. Lose a few pounds if you are overweight, and let essential oils proven to create and regulate energy provide you with the boost you need through aromatherapy. Eat energy-promoting herbs like ashwagandha and oregano. Get unhealthy refined sugar out of your life and limit the amount of caffeine you ingest.

Start drinking green tea, a superfood which is linked to cancer prevention, anti-aging benefits, healthy antioxidants, and energy production. Eat protein regularly, at every meal, take up a yoga or meditation practice, and make sure you drink water throughout the day. Add a regular exercise program which involves strength training and aerobic movement. Incorporating a few or all of these energy-boosting practices means better health and longevity, and fewer short-term and long-term energy highs and lows.
